Terms of use

By activating Novela Studio you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language; please read them.

Your license

A Novela Studio license is for one person. You can use it on up to 2 of your own devices at the same time, such as a computer and a tablet or phone.
You can sign out any device from its own Settings at any time. Signing out a different device from afar, or replacing one when both are in use, can be done up to 3 times a year. If you need more, contact us.
Don’t share your license key with other people, resell it or publish it, and don’t try to bypass the license check. We may turn off a key that is shared or misused.
A refunded or charged-back purchase turns the license off.

Everything you write in Novela Studio is yours, including text the AI drafts at your direction. We claim no rights to it.
You are responsible for what you publish, including checking facts, avoiding infringement, and following each store’s rules. If you publish on Amazon KDP or elsewhere, disclose AI-generated content where the store requires it. The disclosure guidance inside the app is general information, not legal advice.

AI help is optional. It uses your own account and API key with the AI service you choose (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter). That service bills you directly for your usage under its own terms and usage policies.
AI output can be wrong or repetitive. Review everything before you publish it.

Your books are saved in your browser on your device. Clearing your browser’s site data, or a device failure, can erase them. Use Settings › Download backup regularly.
Optional cloud sync keeps an encrypted copy online that only your recovery code can open. Keep your code safe: we never have it and cannot recover books for you. Cloud sync is offered as a convenience and doesn’t replace your own backups.

We may update Novela Studio to fix problems or add features. Updates arrive automatically.
The app needs an internet connection at least every 14 days on each device to confirm your license.
Novela Studio is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Refunds follow the policy shown on the product page at the time you bought it. A refunded or disputed payment turns the license off.
